The Christmas and New Year’s Meeting of the Bioeconomy Cluster Association took place on January 14, 2026, in Textorial Park, with the participation of 27 entities: industrial, research, administrative, and members of the Association.
After offering New Year’s greetings, Danuta Ciechańska, President of the Bioeconomy Cluster Association, emphasized that we are meeting to create, develop, and advocate for the bioeconomy, in accordance with the quote from the European Bioeconomy Strategy 2025: “The bioeconomy is a strategic opportunity for the 21st century – a driving force for green growth, competitiveness, and resilience.”
Then led the meeting in accordance with the Agenda:
- Bioeconomy Cluster Association: Mission, Vision, Integration – Danuta Ciechańska, President of the Management Board of the Bioeconomy Cluster Association.
- Łódzkie for BioBusiness – Anna Lewandowska, Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Just Transition, Marshal’s Office of the Łódzkie Voivodeship. Ms. Kinga Gołębiewska spoke on behalf of the Director.
- European Bioeconomy Strategy 2025 – Agnieszka Sznyk, President of INNOWO; European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform
- National Bioeconomy Roadmap – Piotr Jurga, Coordinator of the National Bioeconomy Hub; JUNG-PIB.
- Bioeconomy – a Real Competitiveness Strategy – Prof. Stanisław Bielecki, ICRIBIOM, Lodz University of Technology, Bioeconomy Cluster Association
- Circular Economy Innovations in the Food Industry – Maspex Food – Kutyna-Bakalarska – Director of the Innovation Management Department at the Maspex Group. Ms. Małgorzata Skorek presented on behalf of the Director.
- Synthetic Biofuels: A Fast Track to Decarbonization and Hydrogenation of the Economy – Prof. Mirosław Miller, hiPower Energy SA
Professor Miller’s lecture was followed by a short presentation of the activities of several entities and a discussion. Representatives of companies, universities, and government officials spoke. During the presentation and discussion, participants completed a survey developed by SKB President Danuta Ciechańska. The survey aims to identify the needs of the bioeconomy cluster initiative and determine the types of services and activities it can offer to the economy
